The course introduces the participants into light microscopy (Monday, Tuesday), ultrastructural microscopy (Tuesday, Wednesday) and image processing and analysis (Thursday, Friday). After thorough explanation of theoretical background, the microscopy techniques used in a modern biomedical laboratory will be demonstrated. The participants will be divided into 3-5 groups at the practical sessions due to restricted capacity of the rooms with the microscopes.
